Teleride Van Drivers Vote for ATU Local 1324 Representation

Teleride Van Drivers voted 17-0 for representation from the ATU on May 9, 2008 and was confirmed by the NLRB. Currently we are attempting to establish dates to begin the negotiation. Already C.J. Campbell, Manager here for First Transit, and the negotiator Paul Avery, have rejected the dates suggested by Local 1324 and they elected to not recommend alternative dates as we asked in our orginal letter. We have sent them a email and letter again requesting that they submit dates to us for consideration, to begin negotiation.
