37th Annual Labor Awards Banquet Saturday, July 12, 2008

The date for the annual Labor Awards Dinner is rapidly approaching. You may still participate by purchasing Tables @ $850.00 each or individuaily tickets @ $90.00 each.

The Georgia AFL-CIO Labor Awards Committee chose the following recipients for the 2008 Labor Awards:

Paul Morris ofAmalgamated Transit Union Local 732

The recipient of the Herbert H Mabry Organized Labor Lifetime Achievement Award is "Leader" James Orange of the AFL-CIO

The recipients of the True Blue Award are Hugh Holloway Grachic Communications Division International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 527-s and Carolyn McKey, Savannah Federation of Teaxchers

These honors will be awarded at the 37th Annual Labor Awards Banquet Saturday, July 12, 2008 with cash bar Reception at 6:00 p.m. and Dinner at 7:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta.
