Employee Free Choice Action
First Informational Leafleting
After raining off and on for the past 15 days the
weather held for a great first leafleting action Sunday May 24
from 12 – 2pm for the Employee Free Choice Act. Urging the
public to contact Georgia Senators in support, 560 leaflets were
distributed led by members of NALC Branch 578, OPEIU #277,
Teamsters #728, Working America and concerned citizens. The CLC
targeted the Wal-Mart / Sams Club shared location on Savannah’s
south side. The response was overwhelmingly positive.
