Employee Free Choice Action
Second Informational Leafleting
One half of the CLC Executive Board made up 4 of the 10
activists that turned out Friday afternoon June 12 from 5 -7 pm
at the WalMart on Hwy 17 in Savannah to inform the public about
the Employee Free Choice Act. By 5:15 WalMart management was
outside but we didn’t leave. With such a high traffic volume
that time of day, about 300 leaflets were handed out in less
than 2 hours and these were to exiting traffic only. Special
thanks to all that came out, especially the 2 USW Local 237
members from Gordon Georgia that supported the action.
